A police officer was arrested after he was caught red-handed chewing a married woman in the police barracks in Kotomor sub county, Agago district.
The suspect whose name has not been disclosed was caught by the locals who went ahead and disarmed before handing him over to Patongo police station for further action.
Reports say the police officer has been fined shillings 2 million by the clan members to compensate the married woman husband Mr Okwel Charles and he agreed to pay before he was taken into detention.
And his gun was later handed over to the GISO of Kotomor by LCI of the area.
