A popular radio presenter, journalist with Kitgum based private radio station Mighty Fire commonly known as Reno Opio mysteriously passed on following a motorcycle accident.
Mighty Fire confirmed his death this morning on the channel's official Facebook page.
"Our brother, a friend, and colleague Reno Opio passed on this morning from Kitgum General Hospital. He was involved in a motorbike accident at 10pm last night.
May God strengthen Reno's family, Mighty Fire team and friends during this very painful and sad moment.'' - the post read.
He passed away from Kitgum General hospital where he was rushed for medical attention after getting involved in the accident.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
