Wire Mach Setting's Polite Mosko has revealed that his senior mentor and singer Victor Jay Root is the reason behind his music journey.
The Gom Kori hitmaker who was on Sunday, 1, January 2023 crowned Northern artist of the year at the just concluded NUMA Awards 2022 made the statement while he appeared on Mega Fm making a star program.
He disclosed that Victor Jay was the person who picked him from the streets and took him to a recording studio and even paid for his first recording.
''Victor Jay was the first person who took me to the studio and paid for my recording. I want to appreciate him so much because he saw something in me," - Polite Mosko said.
However, he applauded Victor Jay for identifying the talent in him and playing a big role in his life.
Victor Jay is known for mentoring and naturing many top rated Northern Uganda artists now under his guidance and support.
Polite went ahead and urged his fans not to stop loving and supporting fellow musicians.
He also attributed his breakthrough to his mentor and boss Wire Mach, who gave him a platform to showcase his talent.
