Gulu District teaching fraternity and community at large mourns the saddened death of Ms Dolly Oryem, the Gulu Primary School Head Teacher has succumbed to covid-19 after losing battle to the disease.
Ms Dolly Oryem passed away on Tuesday morning at St Mary's hospital (Lacor) where she has been receiving treatment for covid-19 for the past two weeks after she started feeling unwell.
The news of her death was confirmed by William Onyai, the Gulu District Coronavirus Risk Communication Officer.
Her death comes at a time when the district had already registered 85 cases of death related to covid-19 between May - June 2021.
