Northern Uganda based female singer Liama Irene has cried to government to release all political prisoners in her latest new song called Free Political Prisoners.
The song comes at a time when members of opposition political party NUP have been arrested and detained at Kitalya Prison.

In the song, Liama urges the security authorities not to harm but protect citizens.
She further preaches against abductions and atrocities. It should be noted that Liama contested during the 2020 General Elections for an MP position and lost.
