A 28-year-old man, Mr Odong Richard has committed suicide inside police cell in Kitgum Matidi. Odong was found earlier today's morning hanging with elastic string of his cloth inside the cell.
Odong who is a resident to of Mulago A village in Kitgum Matidi Sub-county was arrested on Monday over allegation of causing grievous body harm to Oryem Patrick -45 a resident of the same place.
According to the close close, the reason for his death is unclear but police in Kitgum have launched an investigation into the matter.
Reports from his friends indicates that Odong has of late been living a stressful life which had made him resort to excessive alcohol consumption.
