Rising singer Winnie Winzah emerged as the ''best female artist (Acholi sub-region) at the 2025 NUMA Awards.''
The singer edged out other nominees, including her mentor Jenneth Prischa, Akisa and Carol Flower, to win the accolade at the NUMA Awards 2025 held at Pece War Memorial Stadium on 1st January 2026.
The Pi Lutino singer also won the 2025 ''New Artist Of The Year' of the annual music awards, making her a threat to older female artists.
Winnie Winzah had a great year with hit songs like; Pi Lutino, Jol Dog Cwinya, Acito Kuu and many others collaborations which saw her securing the top spot.
The NUMA 2025 awards celebrated excellence across the creative industry, recognizing singers, DJs, producers, comedians, radio personalities, content creators, MCs, and other contributors. Winners walked away with cash prizes and accolades.
