Celebrated female artist, Pamela Peace who doubles as musicians representative at Walk is calling for all artists within the sub-region both legends and newcomers to embrace unity among themselves as a prerequisite to ironing out issues affecting the music industry.
The singer believes in artists coming to work together to speak one voice through Walk Creative Arts Foundation and not fighting the development.
''From my side I am just calling upon the musicians to come together and stand with Walk," "all the time we have been seeing Kampala come to Gulu to get money and they go back. If we go there, they would stop us at the gate," - she said.
She added that the right time has now come for the musicians in the region to start getting the government support, urging them to come together and pick what is meant for them.
"So this time it's here with us why not to come together and pick what is meant for us. Am just calling them to come and register with Walk and we move together.''
Pamela Peace also urged fellow artists to be very careful when working with these leaders who always want to use them for their personal benefit then later dumped them.
"I want to also ask them to be careful there are other leaders who want them when they want something from them." - she concluded.
