A woman who was thought to be dead and was buried by relatives, returned home alive leaving everyone shocked.
The incident took place on Thursday at Paceru, Ndhew Sub-county in Nebbi district. The body was buried 3 days after her death.
However, the lady identified as Awekonimungu Esther, who was presumed to be dead, returned home alive on Thursday afternoon.
Esther being a young hardworking lady, had gone to look for greener pastures at the shore of the river Nile.
However, last year around September Esther who passed away in 2021 was rumoured to be alive, kicking & also eating plenty of fish as she was sighted around River Nile in Pawor Sub-county leading to efforts to repatriate her home.
And on Thursday afternoon thousands gathered to welcome her back home after all this while of being away from the sight of her relatives.
