Police have set free a local musician Bledy Miles from their custody this afternoon after spending the night in the coolers.
This comes after his yet to be released song dubbed 'otong wic' teaser went viral after its release where in the chorus the singer claimed they are the one beheading people. He was reportedly arrested on Sunday morning after police coming across the song.
Speaking to the singer, he said security personnel misinterpreted the message in the song.
He said after police listening and understanding that the message in the song wasn't talking about what they thought, he was then set free from the police custody.
It should be noted that last month security agencies dismissed some social media reports that individuals are being beheaded for ritual purposes in connection with Karuma Bridge rehabilitation.
The rumors suggested that a group called “Otong Tong” was collecting heads for ritual sacrifices to aid in the construction of the Karuma Bridge.
Some even claimed that over 400 heads were needed, with allegations that President Yoweri Museveni was involved in the conspiracy.
