Otim William popularly known as Bosmic Otim has recounted on how the Uganda Police Forces arrested him at Buganda bus park in Kampala that he carries a strong resemblance to war lord Joseph Kony in 2005.
Bosmic revealed that he was intercepted when he was from his performance in Kamwokya and heading back to his residential house in Mutungo Biina.
He disclosed that the reason why he sang the song Uncle Kony in 2005 was because he was facing alot of harassment from security operatives in Kampala when they saw him passing by.
"In 2005, I was arrested at Buganda bus park, Kampala. I was arrested while saying I resemble Kony. I was arrested at 3:00.am while I was from performing in Kamwokya as I was heading to my home in Mutungo Biina near the late father John because I used to reside there by the security operatives while saying I give them my ID and I explain how come I don't speak Luganda, and secondly I resemble Kony so much. And one commander stated clearly that this guy must be Kony's son. He looks like Joseph Kony, he is Kony exactly. In 2007, I was arrested again near where the president's daughter stays. I was rearrested over the same allegations of resembling Kony,''. He stated in a video this website came across.
