Thanks to NTV, NRG Radio, Fenon events, and Eastern Vibes, award-winning Nigerian musician David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, will make his third trip back to Uganda on March 29, 2024, for the Timeless concert.
On January 1, 2019, the singer, songwriter, and record producer gave her final performance in Uganda at the 30 Billion event held at the Pearl of Africa Hotel.
Returning this time, he's one of the most expensive artists in Africa as well as one of Nigeria's biggest talents.
After three years, his fourth studio album, Timeless, which is a 17-track record that explores musical genres such dancehall, raga, Konto, highlife, and Afropop, was released. This coincides with his performance at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
For Timeless, the 30-year-old is nominated for a Grammy in the categories of Best Global Music Album, Best Global Music Performance, and Best African Music Performance.
2012 saw the release of Dami Duro, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo. Since then, Davido has released classic songs including "Unavailable," "Fall," "If," "Jowo," and "Gobe."
