Miss, Little Miss Face of Gulu City 2023/24 crowned

The Face of Gulu City, Little Face of Gulu City was held at Bomah Hotel Gulu on Friday, December 15, under the theme ‘Empowering Young People for Environmental Conservation and a Sustainable Future, where Ariana Lamara was crowned Miss Face of Gulu City meanwhile Mic Johanna Rihanna was crowned Little Miss Face of Gulu City 2023/24.

Ariana Lamara who is from Gulu City West outcompeted 9 other finalists and emerged Overall Winner of the highly anticipated Face of Gulu City 2023 pageant that was held at a colorful event.

Ariana Lamara, 14, a senior two student at St Mary’s Kitende out competed 9 other contestants followed by Lamara Leanard Keren, 17, a form four (4) vacist from St Marys Kitende as the 1st Runner Up and Nassa Michelle Mich, 22, Year three (3) student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of food bioscience and Agribusiness at Gulu University emerged as the 2nd Runner Up respectively.

According to Role Model Foundation CEO Nelson Okeny, Ariana Lamara automatically becomes a brand ambassador of Role Model Foundation’s brand ambassador.

She will also be entitled to other benefits as a brand ambassador for Gulu City and work hand in hand with stakeholders within the city in making Gulu a Better City, conducting environmental conservation awareness campaigns and promoting youth empowerment initiatives in the city and the region at large.
