Renowned events host MC Dogo Destiny has recalled the harsh times he used to go through while he was a struggling musician.
The singer over the years had always wanted to become a musician and he had even started his musical journey but the harsh conditions he went through especially through music distribution made him throw in the towel.
"I have been thinking lately how hard it was for me starting my journey. No Facebook or Whatsapp to markets faster like today only kabiriti and kigunda button phones, I remember taking my song to be played on radio the presenter asked me 10k money, those days I could survive on for 5 days since my day was 1k or 2k my only song that was played on Air was a tribute to the late Mukili who was a radio presenter @Unity fm Lira." - MC Dogo narrates the bitter truth.
According to him, he noted that he quit music production and ventured into singing because it was the cheapest venture he could get into.
The celebrated events MC now boosts of a series of work along his line and now has the audacity to stand tall as one of the biggest MCs in the region.
