Police in Gulu are holding a chapati vendor accused of stabbing his customer to death in a heated disagreement over Shs1000.
According to the police spokesperson Fred Enanga, the deceased, who is a resident in the area ordered a rolex costing Shs1000 from Emy’s Chapati Point and later failed to pay.
“This later resulted in a fight. The suspect, who is the operator of the chapati stall, had a knife, so he severally stabbed the victim and killed him,” said Enanga.
The suspect is under police detention as investigations continue.
