The Zoe Life Theological College USA, has awarded Kitgum Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Onekalit Denis Amere a Honorary Doctorate of Humanity.
The prominent leader was awarded in respect for his outstanding achievements and exceptional contribution to the development of humanity; in particular his commitment at the helm of improving in the lives and livelihoods of his people in Kitgum District and elsewhere in the region.
He took to Facebook ''On 21st February, 2023, I was shocked to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Humanity from Zoe Life College of Theology in USA. The award looks so simple but it is an honour to receive it. I am now physiologically forced to take a bold move to go enroll for a real academic PhD!.
Among those who were also awarded are; Hon. Dr. Betty Aol Ocan, His Royal Highness Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV (king of Busoga), Hon. Dr. Odonga Otto, Hon. Dr. Atim Beatrice Anywar, Hon. Dr. Apostle Grace.
The ceremony took place at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, where Minister Beatrice Atim Anywar was the chief guest who represented the Speaker of Parliament of Uganda.
The main celebrant was HE Ambassador Archbishop Prof. Dr Innocent Nkozi Richard the Chancellor Zoe Life Theological College USA/Africa Campus.
