Celebrated Northern Uganda based artist, Pato Loverboy is not happy with the organizers of Northern Uganda Music Awards for bringing nemesis, Eezzy as guest artist in the just concluded award ceremony.
Pato Loverboy says he can't believe that with the 10 years he has been in music industry the award committee can still bring Eezzy who stepped down from participating in any award ceremonies organized in Northern region to grace the ceremony and expect him to perform again.
He however said he has gone beyond the level of competing for 1 million shillings.
'I refused to perform at the NUMA Awards because my name was undermined. One I have been in this industry for more than 10 years. You cannot make Eezzy Music the guest artist and expect me to perform. Two I have gone beyond the level of competing for 1 million shillings. I had two shows on the same day so why would I be competing yet I have work to do,'' Pato Loverboy lament
It should be remembered that the Tumbiza Sound hitmaker, stepped down last year that he wants to give space to other musicians to also benefit from their industry.
Pato Loverboy scooped Afrobeat Artist Of The Year Award came out after losing in the four categories where he was nominated for.
He lost in category of ''The Overall Artist Of The Year, The Male Artist of the year, The Dancehall Artist of the year, The Most Consistent Artist Of The Year.
