Prominent video director and producer Ochaya Jessie is going through the toughest time ever after losing his beloved wife and infant son.
Jessie's beloved wife, Amoo Juliet died the following day after losing their infant son from Lacor Hospital. She died after losing a lot of blood from her body.
Jessie's baby died on spot on delivery, meanwhile his wife died hours after battling for her life.
He said the only word his beloved wife told him when going to the theatre was only 'Beibe I Love You, Sorry But Am Coming Back'.
The video director hoped that if professional doctors were to be in the hospital for work on that day, his wife would be alive by now.
He claims that student doctors were the ones working on his wife and because he had no courage, he just had to let things go.
The grieving Jessie has penned down an emotional lengthy letter.
"It was on a Monday 6th night when my wife was in Labour. Immediately I grabbed up some few stuff and took off from home, when we reached the Gulu Regional Referral Hospital (GRRH), I found only one doctor at the private wing, and by then my wife was already bleeding so much, the doctor and midwife at the whole maternity word, taking their time. I had to carry my wife with my bare hands to the labour suit, he saw her over bleeding, he just wrote a referral letter and told me to go to lacor, he called ambulance driver and the driver came in a few minutes. No One Helped To Carry My Wife Back To The Ambulance, most especially fearing that the blood will stain them, I carried her back to the ambulance and we went to Lacor Hospital, from there they just rushed to the theatre, the last word my wife to me when she was going to theatre was 'Beibe I Love You, Sorry But Am Coming Back they left for the theatre, I was not allowed inside, the baby was brought out, they sayed he has passed on, then I turned my attention to my wife, she needed blood urgently though we couldn't find her blood type, when the doctors saw her condition worsening, some of them decided to give their own blood (five of them) but I think it was abit too late, my wife arrested (three times) I mean died 3 times and back, then she stayed for some time from 6pm until 1am Tuesday morning, as I was just right there with her, she took her last breath, I don't want to blame anyone but please let's be careful with our hospitals in general, I saw a lot student doctors working on my wife, however, I can't say they are the cause for her death but at such situations I had no power to claim for a professional doctors, because I don't know of one. This was the true story of what happened to my beloved God fearing wife, mentor, friend mother of my children, and above all, the love of my life. She lives on in our daughter." Jessie expressed.
May their souls rest in peace.
