Fast rising talented singer, Kasid Puma describes himself as a thief as he remembers the time when things were tough for them at home.
In an interview, the singer made a staggering revelation that he was once a thief who used to terrorise people in his community by stealing their properties.
According to him, his new single titled Laqlinture is a true life story reflecting on what he went through as a child when things were not easy for him.
Kasid Puma said he didn't get a chance to go to school because his mother could not afford to send him to school due to lack of money.
"At my age I'm still very young to be in school but because our family is not all the same. By the time, I was supposed to be in school studying, my mother never had money to send me to school so I ended up joining the bad peer group." He narrated.
"We used to steal cheap things which can keep us around but not motorcycles. I grew up when my area LC1 chairperson used to fear me because whenever anything is stolen within the area the first thing they could do is come to my house even though I am not the one who stole it."
He lamented that he did not start doing music because he wanted it to change his life but it was a calling from God already.
"I didn't start singing to change my life but I started singing with the God given talent."
He concluded and said he really faced difficulties in life, reaching a point where he and his crew could collect plastic bottles to earn for a living.
"We suffered so much, collected plastic bottles in search of money, and slept in the corridors in the boxes."
