As the country is heading towards the general elections come 2026, social media users in Acholi sub-region have endorsed the two legislators to go and represent them in 12th Parliament.
Both Olanya and Otto are known for playing a very crucial role in implementing the ban on illegal charcoal trade in the region, Apaa Land dispute and the Balaalo must go in Northern Uganda.
Hon Samuel Odonga Otto who lost his seat to Komakech Christopher in 2021, has declared his intention to return to parliament come 2026.
It should be noted that Otto who has not been in the 11th Parliament has been using his influence to fight for the right of his people.
Olanya is one of the most notoriously influential politicians in Acholi who has also been disagreeing with Museveni's government over the rights of his people from the sub-region.
