Police in Gulu are holding musician Neo Okello on charges of reckless driving and causing bodily Injuries to two pedestrians in Gulu City on Sunday night.
Neo Okello, real names Okello Sunday was driving a car registration number UBF 944D knocked the two in the area of Pece prison cell in Laroo Pece division at around 10:30 pm
The victims have been identified as Monica Adokoyot who sustained a fractured right leg and her sister Josephine Ayoo sustained minor injuries.
The victims were both rushed to St. Mary's hospital Lacor in Bardege Layibi division in Gulu city for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, the In Aye singer hit Adokoyot and Ayoo before ramming his car into a makeshift eating joint
Jimmy Patrick Okema the Aswa River Region police spokesperson said the suspect has been charged with reckless driving and causing bodily injurie. The vehicle has also been impounded and being kept at Gulu police station parking yard.
