Singer Jose Chameleon has been denied the NUP flag bearer's mayoral ticket by NUP party platform.
The flag bearer was given to Kawempe North MP Latif Ssebagala last week.
It is alleged that Chameleon lost because of some question marks regarding his academics.
It is believed that the singer did not present all his academic credentials as required. Questions were raised over his A level qualifications as he failed to present his O level results.
Questions were also raised about his national ID.
Last week, NUP released all the lists of people who intend to contest in the coming 2021 elections under their platform.
