Singer Eddy Kenzo has been appointed as the new tourism ambassador to Uganda. He was appointed and unveiled on 1st September 2020 by Uganda's tourism's minister Godfrey Kiwanda.
In this new role, Eddy Kenzo will be required to showcase the beauty of Uganda to the outside world through the vast network of friends and millions of followers that he has.
Kenzo's global profile will help Uganda's visibility as a preferred tourists destination at a time when the world is battling a pandemic, noted minister Kiwanda.
This deal will be part of the #TulwmbuleMyUganda campaign where we've seen notable celebrities such as Anita Fabiola and Zari Hassan previously took on these roles.
