As rumors have been circulating on social media platforms that the country might go to another second phase of total lockdown. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, the Minister of Health Uganda has revealed that there is no planned second lockdown.
This comes after Ugandans were thinking in the wake of growth in Covid-19 infections and death.
Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng said Ugandans should behave in order to avoid the over increasing number of Covid-19 infections and death
She, however, urged the general public to follow the WHO and Ministry of Health guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
While speaking to media, she said that she is not aware of any planned presidential address to the nation today as news is circulating that there is a planned second total lockdown.
