Ugandan dancehall artist Vyper Ranking says the public push for him to perform on Spice Diana’s show has made him reflect on his years in the game.
In a recent post, he wrote: “The way people are demanding for me to perform on Spice’s show has made me realise that I have worked. Put respect over my name.”
Ranking also underlined what he sees as his role in the local scene: “No Vyper Ranking, No Dancehall in Uganda. Riddim Killer.”
The remarks come amid ongoing fan campaigns calling for his inclusion on major dancehall stages. Known for his energetic delivery and “Riddim Killer” tag, Ranking has remained a recognizable voice in Uganda’s dancehall circuit.
The International dancehall queen is scheduled to perform at Safari Beats concert on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
