Gulu City is set for a thrilling start to 2026 as WALK prepares to celebrate its One-Year Anniversary with a massive public event slated for Wednesday, 1st January 2026.
The celebrations will take place at Kaunda Grounds, Gulu City, starting from midday, and will be marked by the official WALK SACCO Launch, bringing together members of the creative industry, artists, and the general public.
The event will be officiated by the Chief Guest, Gen. Salim Saleh, adding high-level significance to the milestone celebration. Entertainment lovers can expect performances from all artists from the WALK SUB regions, showcasing diverse talent and culture.
To crown the festivities, organizers have promised a massive fireworks display, alongside free drinks and nyamachoma, making it a true New Year treat for attendees. Entry to the event is completely free, ensuring everyone can be part of the celebration.
