Gulu regional referral hospital has this afternoon discharged three COVID-19 patients. Gulu regional referral hospital director Doctar Elima was joined by Gulu LC V chairman Hon Ojara Martin Mapenduzi and Gulu's Resident District Commissioner Major Santos Lapolo at the hospital premises.
The three patients are truck drivers who were intercepted at Elegu and Atiak after they tested positive for COVID-19 and later brought for treatment at Gulu regional referral hospital.
Doctar Elima and Doctar Paska, the in charge case management at the treatment centre acknowledged that they have a team of highly professional doctars and nurses who have done and are doing a great job.
Accordingly, statistics show that the number of cases at the health facility have now dropped to 64.
