Music veteran Gen Ice, also considered one of the most celebrated music icons in the music industry has urged fellow legends to work together with the fresh artists instead of fighting and blocking their ways.
He believes that supporting and guiding these new artists will help in grooming them to become better musicians in future for them to also benefit from them as legends.
This comes after he was asked to comment on what rising star Kamuzu Urban Niga stated about the legends.
He added he once had the same scenario with the late Beniman Mzeeb2star (RIP) but they had to harmonize their rift after realising it wasn't helpful.
Gen Ice also added he doesn't want to see the legacy of Northern Uganda music industry go back to where it was before than going higher.
"As for the long serving artists, I think we need to work together with these new artists," ''And what we fear most, we don't want the legacy of the Northern Uganda music industry to go back to where it was before. We need to go higher,'' ''So where there is joining hands, we shall all see success and benefit. Hold your colleague's hands and move together," "We work together and respect ourselves as legend and be a good example to these young artists,'' ''We are also elders instead of pulling strings with them and I don't support fighting the young ones in the industry." - he advised fellow legends.
Meanwhile, he is also gearing up for his music concert dubbed Gen Ice Cultural Festival schedule for 13th December at Lira Hotel and 14th December in Apac and then wrap it up with Oyam on 15th December respectively.
