Several injured on a Sunday evening in which a truck carrying Gulu foot pilgrims from Wii Polo in Paimol, Agago District slid off the road before it overturned.
The accident happened in Lapana, Namukora Subcounty in Kitgum District involved a Fuso Lorry whose Registration number could not be traced easily.
According to the Kitgum District RDC, Mr. Ssegawa Nehemiah Jimmy Ebil, a team from the Traffic Police and ambulances has been dispatched to the scene, though no deaths have been reported so far.
Three victims are reported to be in critical condition. In a related incident, the KTI Tata lorry carrying other pilgrims is stuck in the mud along Chua Road near Onyala in Namokora.
