Multiple award winning traditional singer Jenneth Prischa has revealed that the short detention period of Maria A at police was to save her life from the rowdy mob.
"We took Maria A to police because villagers were going to kill her if we were to leave her there and this would backfire on us the many artists who stormed her home" Prischa during the meeting with artists at GAMA headquarters.
However her detention was short-lived as the suspect instantly secured bail release. We are not sure who he was but she has regained her freedom.
The Owek Aywee hitmaker emphasized on the detention saying it was geared towards saving Maria A life from a heated crowd that wanted to beat her up.
According to Jenneth Prischa, Ker Kwaro Acholi has set fit into the matter with an invite to all the aggrieved parties to come through for a meeting on Monday,7th April, 2025 at the palace.
According to her, this is when and where they hope the issues will be addressed to its logical conclusion.
She cautioned people to be mindful of such events and take them seriously because its impact can be enormous and gracious if not well handled.
However Jenneth Prischa stated clearly that Maria A is not working alone because she said those photos are for some of her clients.
As we report, Maria A is currently out of police cells and she has gained back her freedom.
