Controversial Aruu County Member of Parliament Hon. Samuel Odonga Otto is still hospitalized at Gulu Regional Referral hospital after he reportedly collapsed at Pader Central Police station on Tuesday 19th evening.
Odonga, who recently lost his parliamentary seat to independent candidate Christopher Komakech who polled 9,327 votes while he garnered only 5,953 votes was later rushed to Gulu regional referral hospital private wing where he's receiving treatment.
To make matters worse, Odonga Otto was wanted by police in Pader District before the elections where he was being accused of campaigning beyond the stimulated hours on 6th January 2021 when he was arrested from Awere trading center and he managed to escape from the police till he was again arrested on Tuesday, 19th January 2021 after losing the parliamentary seat.
According to reports, Odonga Otto fainted while recording a statement at Pader police station after he asked the police officer that he is not feeling well and he needs medical care.
