Northern Uganda emerging sensation Abonga Charles professionally known as Bwoy King HD, recently opened up on how his late mother supported him to do music.
In an interview with Mega 102, the singer revealed that his mother was so supportive of his music career to the extent of paying for his first studio recording.
"My late mum was very supportive and by then they used not to support children from home to engage themselves too much in music. But my first song was funded by my mother. And I recorded it from the late Lumix Da Don studio (Valley Curve Record,"
It should be remembered that in 2019, Bwoy King HD lost his beloved mother in a fatal road accident that involved a bus belonging to Roblyn bus company along Kampala-Gulu highway.
However, the Tita hitmaker appealed for unity amongst fellow musicians because there is no love and support among them as artists.
He said that he grew professionally as a singer, songwriter and composer when he heeded his mother’s support and advice.
