Kilak South MP Hon Gilbert Olanya is demanding immediate removal and arrest of Amuru District RDC Odong Stephen Latek from the office over the saddened death of Amuru acting Veterinary officer Dr Ochora Samuel.
While addressing the mourners at the late Dr. Ochora Samuel Amuru DVO, Hon Gilbert says the prime suspects in Killing of the DVO are Amuru RDC Odong Stephen Latek, DPC and Deputy DISO and they must leave the office with immediate effects.
He says these suspects should be behind bars to ensure thorough investigations.
He however demanded security personnel for the truth of what transpired leading to the death of Dr. Ochora instead of false information.
Late Ochora Samuel was killed on Tuesday during the balaalo eviction from Akee Village, Kololo Parish, Lakang sub county in Amuru district.
Meanwhile the statement released by the Amuru district RDC Odong Stephen Latek stirred a lot of mixed reactions after he said the bullet hit the deceased (Ochora Samuel) from the back and the incident was accidental and regrettable.
Gilbert Olanya disclosed those people's plans are to demise anyone who doesn't want the balaalo herdsmen to live in Acholi land.
He continued and stressed RDC, DISO and the DPC of Amuru District should explain the exact causes of Dr. Ochora Samuel death than brain folding the people of Acholi.
