Northern Uganda's music legend Odong Denis alias Tam Noffy has survived death in a nasty road accident on February, 28, 2024.
The accident happened at Koch Amaa while he was traveling back from a music show he had in Olwiyo, Nwoya District.
However, the singer survived with serious injuries which involved a deep cut on his head and a swollen leg.
According to his wife, the accident occurred at around 4am and he was rushed to the hospital while unconscious.
She said she received a phone call in the morning that her husband has got involved in a road accident and doesn't know himself.
"I was shocked when I received a phone call that get up and go to the hospital your husband got in an accident and they are bringing him to the hospital. I was broken and stayed for some 5 minutes then I got up and came to the hospital and found him unconscious in the emergency ward."
On Monday 29, when we visited him at Lacor hospital, he had already gained back his senses though he didn't talk to anybody but we thank God he's now out of danger.
He didn't get involved in the accident alone but he was riding with an upcoming artist identified as Acholi whose condition is not known.
This comes just a few days after Northern Uganda top artist Bernard Munu Paul alias BeePee Ug succumbed to injuries sustained from the similar road accident.
