Hon Gilbert Olanya has called upon all the Acholi to join an upcoming non-violent protest aimed at safeguarding the residents of Apaa.
This demonstration, led by Acholi Paramount Chief Rwot David Onen Acana II will commence at the Ker Kwaro Acholi Palace and proceed to Apaa. Olanya emphasized that it is no longer acceptable for the government to continue harming Acholi people in Apaa.
He also issued a stern warning that anyone attempting to disrupt this peaceful demonstration be they a political figure, religious leader, UPDF member, or any peacekeeping personnel, will face severe consequences this upcoming Saturday.
Furthermore, Olanya insisted that all political leaders must personally attend for the well-being of the people in Apaa and for the overall welfare of the Acholi community. He cautioned RDCs who align themselves with the attackers to refrain from participating in this demonstration, or else he will publicly expose them to the Acholi populace.
