Uganda's rapper Judas Rapknowledge Da Akbar has finally come out and said that the late rapper Lumix Da Don is the king, the God father and founder of hip hop in the country Uganda.
"Lumix has been a father, God father of hip Hop in Northern Uganda. He is a mentor to a lot of hip hop artists in Uganda. When it comes to hip hop, Lumix is known as the foundation in Uganda. He is the king of hip hop in Uganda right now."
He however, revealed that Lumix is one of his biggest inspirations into the music industry.
"He was one of my biggest inspirations in this industry because we used to buy his tapes so that we also acquire more skills on how to deliver in Acholi."
Judas Rapknowledge made the powerful statement during an interview with Wan Luo TV when he was asked what he knows about the late Lumix Da Don.
"He is the most incredible, amazing lyricse and everyone knows in Acholi land and entire Uganda."
"So he was such an amazing talent which was there and we were blessed to have such amazing talent here. His music was not only for the local consumption, it was more of international consumption. He did a lot of great things in my life." Judas stated.
He died on 13th, July 2015 from Naguru hospital, Kampala after a short illness and his death shocked the whole nation because he was such a great inspiration to other musicians and left a very big gap in hip hop genre of music.
