Diaspora based legendary musician Bosmic Otim has expressed concern over the arrest of Gen Matembe in connection to the death of a Nwoya based upcoming artiste.
Matembe was arrested last week on Thursday 20th April 2023 for punching to death an upcoming artiste known by stage name as Big J. He is currently detained at Anaka police station.
Singer Oyet Jackson alias Big J breathed his last on Thursday 20th April 2023 from St Mary's hospital Lacor where he was admitted for specialized treatment. His body was laid to rest on Sunday 23rd April 2023 in Anaka Bwobo Lacek.
Condemning the arrest of Matembe, the musician cautioned security, the family of the suspect and the family of the deceased not to rushed with their final judgement because there are witnesses also who were there during scuffle.
In his statement, Bosmic Otim, requested Acholi leaders and area MPs to take serious note on this matter because if not many youths will find themselves in jail whether they have committed a crime or not.
"For the matter not to worsen, both families should come to understanding before concluding matter." - Bosmic Otim Narrated.
