I Had Pulled Out Of NUMA2019 At Last Minutes Because I Wanted To Give Space For Other Artistes - Okeng Borntown

While applauding Northern Uganda Music Awards winners on Thursday 2nd January 2020, Northern Uganda based comic singer and award winning star Okeng Borntown who was nominated in the NUMA2019 in the category of Lango regional artist of the year said he didn't appear because he wanted to give space to the new talent coming into the industry in a good way and manners because he has had enough.

 

Speaking to him, he said "I didn't participate because am now a legend for 8 years and I wanted to give space for the young generation also to benefit from the sweetness of music"

 

He urged people not to take this like a pride but it's appreciations of  good work done by the awards winning musicians in 2019.

 

He also added that for those musicians who won the award should take good spirits for fulfilling promising in Northern Uganda.

 

Mafia girl hitmaker will also be dropping this year first song any time from now according to him.
