Northern Uganda top female artist, Jeneth Prischa has lost her Facebook account to unknown hackers who have started requesting huge amount of money from her fans and followers.
To avoid the consequences that come along with losing an account to hackers, Prischa via her other social media notified her followers that she is not in control of her highly followed page.
Jenneth Prischa's fans were shocked seeing unknown hackers asking for dollars in her names.
The Pe Ipim Wiya fame is not the first artist to suffer the wrath of hackers. A number of public figures have lost their accounts to such bad-minded individuals.
Eezzy, Maria A, Promoter Sammy Kios,.among several others have lost their social media pages to hackers in recent times.
She however urged her followers never to send any money to that Kenyan number once they call asking for help because that's not her, as she has created a new Facebook account.
"Dear my followers, close friends and my family members I have just noticed that my old Facebook account has been hacked in the name of Jenneth Prischa Amony and the hacker is using that account to reach some of you. My dearest customers and close friends to ask for money in my name and the hacker is using a Kenyan telephone number. I'm here at home with my family and having no problem at all as he is trying to ask for helps. Be informed from now onwards I have a new account created just to let you my people take care of these thieves. It's good that some of you are calling me for confirmation if I need any helps. Whoever is with a Kenyan number for money must not send coz that person isn't me. Thanks."
