Multiple award winning legendary musician, Odoch Allan popularly known as Smokie Allan has urged promoters and event organizers to start putting money on the home artists.
During an interview with an online tabloid, Smokie said promoters and event organizers should learn how to value their local artists.
Smokie further disclosed that people don't know the value of an artist and how they should be valuing them accordingly when it comes to terms of hiring them.
He also revealed that he needs to do a concert in Germany and he has a lot of content which will enble him to stage his concert in Germany.
"I need to do a concert in Germany. So far me to go, I need a lot of content of which I have in plenty."
He continued and said that he is the first who paved the way for dancehall music while the late Lumix Da Don paved the one for hip hop in Uganda.
"I'm the one who paved dancehall way while Lumix Da Don paved for hip hop."
The No Cry star, added and said right now he has declared to divert from dancehall to reggae in order to create space for the young artists to benefit in dancehall genre.
"Right I left dancehall for reggae to leave the young one to also benefit in dancehall."
He concluded that his fans shouldn't see that he has nothing but he is taking things according to his level of league.
