The Chief Executive Officer of NUMA Awards and radio personality, Okot Juma Jammie has come out and revealed his next plan for Northern Uganda music industry.
While giving his speech at the launch of Way Big Entertainment record label on Sunday 29th January at Murphy's Lounge and Bar, Juma Jammie said his next mission is to see that Acholi music dominates all the radio stations and local televisions in Kampala.
''My next mission is that I want us to join hands together if possible Acholi music to start playing seriously in all the local televisions and radio stations in Kampala. If you are to see the quality of Acholi music/ music contents, trust me, we are big in the game. So we should see how do we penetrate central (Kampala).'' Juma Jammie stated.
He added that he is very happy because together with his colleagues, they have promoted music and gone to the next level. He also said he wants all the musicians to penetrate central and then move to the next level.
Juma however mentioned some of the musicians who have managed to penetrate the central music industry i.e Eezzy, Polite Mosko, Laxzy Mover and among others.
He further stated how is currently doing a research study on how Nigerian music has dominated the world market so that he come and set the bar as well for Acholi music to be also on the market.
