The prominent Northern Uganda music promoter who double also as the chairman of Northern Uganda Promoters Association says people will only appreciate you when you are in a coffin.
This comes after entertainers attacked when you came out with plan to boycott The Road To Eddy Kenzo Festival in Gulu next month at Acholi Inn.
According to Badman Solo who is currently in hot soup, they are going to mobilize fans and boycott Eddy Kenzo's concert if no Northern artist is included and this caused a lot of mix reactions from event organizers and other stakeholders.
''Ladies and Gentlemen, as the Chairman of the Northern Uganda Promoters Association NUPA, & Spokesperson for Uganda Musicians Association Acholi CLUSTER, Am Very Disappointed with the Organisers of the Road to Eddy Kenzo Festival in Gulu City especially for Disrespecting the Northern Uganda Music Industry by Not Recognising Some of the Great Talents we Have in Northern Uganda Currently. We Shall Soon Announce a Boy Cott to the Gulu Show if the Organisers don't PAY & Include atleast 4 or 5 of Our talented Artists." He posted yesterday.
Here below is how he penned down his heartbroken messages;
Most human Being will Only Appreciate You When You are Dead. 90% of people on social media are just hypocrites who just wait to comment on anything without understanding anything especially about the music industry in Northern Uganda.
I Personally Spend the bigger percentage of my time with most artists in Northern Uganda and I know the struggle under which they go through and always try to support some of them with little that I can. How I wish all wannabes who always comment on social media also do the same even if with even sharing their music on different platforms even if they may not have time to attend your concerts or contribute financially towards their music.
When an artist is sick, most people on social media just stop only at wishing them quick recovery and finally commenting (RIP) when they have passed on. When an artist or media personality is dead. That's when you see all the social media hypocrites commenting all sorts of good things about the artist, most DJz and other media personalities who do not play their music when they are still alive playing the music 24/7 upon news reaching that an artist is no more.
How I wish all contributions/support they give artists/musicians when they are no more is given to them when they are still alive.
They are even some people who still do comedy on some of our great artists knowing that they are not doing well instead of supporting them in any possible ways when they are still alive but that's how our wicked world is today.
If you are an artist/musician, you only get 100% airplay when you are dead.
