Northern Uganda's fast rising gospel singer couple, King & Queen Fire are currently leading in the online polls at the VIGA Awards 2022 in the category of best Northern Uganda
King & Queen Fireman have been nominated in the category of Outstanding Northern Song/Artist of the year along with musicians, Kiddy Face, Nighty Peggy, -Desanto, OJ Maxwell, Odong Romeo and Otim Alpha Oziate for the prestigious, Uganda's leading gospel music awards.
Kica Pa Lubang by King & Queen Fireman leading with 941 votes (35.34%), Miti Pa Lubanga by Kiddy Face is 2nd with 879 votes (33.95%), Anga ma twera by Romeo Odong 3rd with 292 votes (11.74%), Accountability by Desanto 4th with 156 votes (6.56%), Waka Waka by OJ Maxwell 5th with 115 votes (4.84%), Rwot Gwoka by Nightie Peggy 6th with 64 votes (2.69%) and Kica Pa Rubanga by Mego Petua Akom ft Otim Alpha Oziate is 7th with 38 votes (1.60%). Meanwhile the voting is still ongoing.
This exceptional gospel singing couple from Northern Uganda are known for songs like Pira Kena, Limito Ni, Olumawa, Kica Pa Rubanga among others.
The award ceremony will be conducted on Saturday 9th July, 2022 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
