Kitgum Queen's Anek Patricia Appointed As Lady Cranes Rugby Vice Captain

Prominent rugby player with Kitgum Queens Rugby Club Anek Patricia has been appointed as the vice captain for the Lady Cranes Rugby by the national team head coach Leonard Lubambula. 

Anek Patricia comes from a sporting background and through her life she has taken a game of rugby and excelled at it seeing her earn a number of medals and trophies for her team.

Anek Patricia who is a teacher by profession and at the same time a rugby XV player was named as one of 3 players who will lead the team during the international duties.

Patricia along with Charlotte Mudoola will be supported by the appointed captain Peace Lekuru in their upcoming international games.

The Lady Cranes Rugby will be hosting Zimbabwe Ladies on 14-18 July 2021 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds at Rugby Africa Cup.

She was introduced to game of rugby in 2013 while at Kitgum Town College and today Patricia is seen living her dream.

Speaking to Patricia after the appointment, she said ''I am really excited to have this opportunity to be a leader in the national team level.'
