Former Beniman Mzeeb manager, Opio Brian aka Manager Prince has shared a message advising musicians to switch to online promotion during this pandemic period.
Possibly out of experience, Manager Prince says musicians should embark on online promotions instead of waiting for the lockdown to be lifted.
The experienced manager who signed a memorandum of understanding with singer Profesa Maros to be his manager, has urged artists to look at YouTube, iTunes because they cannot only depends on show gigs to sustain their life.
Ghetto Prince revealed that YouTube and iTunes are the other digital music streaming platforms that pay lucrative money to artistes and hence should be looked at as such a valuable investment.
''We can keep on letting down the fans by not releasing music, my special advise to my comrades #Artists en there managers at large.. it is now coming up to 2yrs ever since this Pandemic came in last year in March,,, The music industry has been the most oppressed en still oppressed...No shows nor concerts for the past years en still no more sign that we may get into the business as we wea. I kindly request you pipo to embark on promoting our music online, Youtube, iTunes, Spotify en many more which haven't mentioned,,, by that we shall be able to make some money which will help us a lot in this Pandemic without performing anywhere. Thanks. He posted.
Manager Prince is also looking forward to releasing one of Mzeeb's songs 'Sina Haraka' left in the studio before passing away last year in the month of August.
