Makome Bus Company Donates Fuel Worth 4.3million To Gulu, Omoro And Kitgum District Task Forces

Makome Bus Company has on Thursday 16th April 2020 donated to the district COVID-19 task force of Gulu, Kitgum and Omoro Districts to support their efforts during the current lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Each of the districts [Gulu, Kitgum and Omoro] received 300 litres of fuel and 100 litres of liquid soap worth Shs 4,300,000/=.

The fuel is meant for ambulances to transport patients to various hospitals and health centres within individual Districts of Gulu, Kitgum and Omoro and the liquid soap is to support public places such as health centres and markets.

The Management of Makome Bus and Courier Services offer this as the only way they can now support their own people of Northern Uganda during these tough times of Coronavirus.

While addressing the media, the management of Makome Bus Company urged people to follow the health guidelines against COVID-19 pandemic. Stay home and healthy. Together we shall fight Coronavirus.

Each District has been given 300 litres of fuel and 100 litres of liquid soap to support the health workers across the districts.
