Vera is a Ugandan recording artist from lira, born Abalo Petra and started music during the 2021 lockdown with a solo debut Guitar, followed by other singles as Itura, Cwara & Touch my body all produced by Brozy at Dallas Gang Studios of Mambo one star, a former member of the two star duo with the late Mzee B.  

The eighteen year old was born to Amule Benah & Omara Alfred Habakkuk and started singing at a tender age while at St. Mary Kevin Primary School Kajjansi where she studied her primary school education and was a member of the brass band.

Other than music, Vera is a qualified chef, a carrier she pursued at YMCA Wandegeya after finishing her secondary education at Baptist High School Zana, Wakiso.

She sings Afrobeat, RnB, Zouk, reggae, dancehall, pop and world music; and is currently signed under Blaq Boy Entertainment, a Ugandan Record and distribution label. 

She was awarded as one of the best female artists, Lango sub region in the Northern Uganda Entertainment Awards and has just released her first EP dabbed LELLA written and produced by Lincoln.
