Singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Lincoln Ferod has released his list of Lango’s top five female artists of all time — artists he believes are the best musically.
His list features both old and new talents like Daisy Ejang, Lyitar Muzik, Sharon Atura, Maxxy, and Daisy Bejo. It excludes established acts such as Real Mids, Vera, and Akira, among others whose songs are dominating the airwaves.
According to Lincoln, the list is based purely on talent and vocals — not beauty, hype, or money. Just real music. He added that the only female artist he felt should have made the list is Aturo Daniella, a singer with touching vocals.
He said, “From soulful traditional sounds to modern hits, these queens have carried Lango music with power and pride.”
