Former legendary Sanyu Fm presenter Onen James aka Onen Fat Boy has won the Best Radio and TV Personality award at AFRIMMA 2020.
Legendary presenter represented Uganda at AFRIMMA Awards in the category of best radio and TV personality.
The event which held on the 15th of November, Sunday, had performances from veteran Fally Ipupa, Nigerian young star Rema and Soraia Ramos from Cape Verde.
He was nominated alongside Ebuka from Nigeria, Yaw from Nigeria, Jamal Gaddafi from Kenya, Jessica Opare Saforo from Ghana, Konnie Toure from Ivory Coast, Afonso Quintas from Angola, Willy Tuva from Kenya, DJ Fresh from South Africa, and Do2dtun from Nigeria.
Onen Fat Boy also became the only Ugandan to scoop an award at the 2020, AFRIMMA ceremony after Eddy Kenzo, Sheebah Karungi, Vinka, Keko, Sasha Vybz, and others failed to win in their respective categories.
