Uganda controversial digital influencer Frank Gashumba (father to Sheila Gashumba) has come out claiming that most entertainers in Uganda’s entertainment industry are not talented, but they are just looking for survival.
According to him, majority of Ugandan musicians make fake music purposely to earn quick money, but they actually don’t mind about quality.
“We don’t have talented musicians here in Uganda, they are only doing it for money and survival, even comedians are fake, “Frank Gashumba said whilst talking about the newly introduced rules and regulations to govern the art industry.
It should be noted that when covid-19 emerged in the country, many artistes were forcefully pushed to the wall to an extent of waiting for government Posho and beans. Many who were not used to saving cried out to their fellow musicians for help.
